07:00 AM Boat journey  Mongla port Boat journey to cross the Posur river. Then, Local transportation to reach Gol Kanon Eco Cottage.

07:20 AM Breakfast You’ll be received by the local communities with flowers & refreshing coconut water. Upon arrival at the cottage breakfast will be served with 4-5 local food items.

01:30 PM Lunch: Lunch will be served with delicious local fish dishes and other food items. You’ll get a chance to experience at least 7-8 local exotic food items.

03:00 PM A silent boat trip: A silent boat trip will be arranged to roam around the canals. Also, a small walk expedition on which the guides from local communities will be secure you.

06:00 PM Evening Snacks:  End of Silent boat trip and snacks will be served.

10:00 PM Dinner: Dinner will be served with 7-8 local food items. Night stays at ECO Cottage.

Description

Gol Kanon Eco Resort is located in Mongla's West Dhangmari. Just thirty minutes from Mongla Port. The eco-lodge is situated on the Posur River's bank. Sundarban is directly opposite the eco-lodge. Consequently, the cabin offers a magnificent view of Sundarban. The Gol Kanon Eco Resort is a community-based Ecotourism effort. The organisation is founded by Relief International. The goal of this project is to provide sustainable alternative livelihoods to local populations. Moreover, while supporting ecotourism and conservation activities.

• Additional charges will be applied as a permit fee for foreigner/non-Bangladeshi travelers as per government regulation.
• National ID card to be provided on booking.
• All mentioned durations and activities are subject to change depending on tide, weather and safety conditions.
• The tour operator will be responsible for the operation of the tours and excursions as mentioned under the normal situation. So, for personal accident, sickness, loss of baggage during the tour, delay or cancellation of air flight, any political problem resulting in an unusual situation to conduct a tour, etc. we shall not be directly responsible. While the tour operator will be responsible for extending all possible assistance in overcoming those problems, but the guest must pay any extra costs incurred due to these problems.
• The times mentioned in the itinerary are subject to change due to weather conditions, tides in the river, the convenience of the travelers and other unavoidable circumstances. Travelers are requested to cooperate with the operator/host/organizer in case of such circumstances.
• The travelers are requested to contact with the tour operator/host/organizer in case they face any kind of trouble/problem during the tour.
• No alcohol will be available for sale on board.
• No phone signal works inside the deeper forest. But at some point, you will get a phone signal to call the emergency services. If you use a Bangladeshi Tele Talk SIM, we’ll get better coverage in a remote area like Kotka.

Cancellation Policy

• To cancel any tour, an email has to be sent to everesttoursbd@gmail.com mentioning the tour booking ID and details about the cancellation.
• Travelers are responsible for notifying Everest Tours of any cancellations as soon as possible.
• The email acts as the final application for cancellation. Phone calls to Everest Tours hotline or contacting any team member directly will not be considered as cancellation requests.
• The time of sending the email will be considered as the time of cancellation.
• In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as acts of God, natural disasters, or mandatory government closures, Everest Tours Limited may offer alternative dates for the tour or a full refund, at Everest Tours discretion.
• If a tour is cancelled by the tour operator due to unforeseen circumstances, travelers will be entitled to a full refund of the tour fee.
• This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Please refer to the website or booking confirmation voucher/invoice for the most up-to-date information.
• Tours booked for blackout dates, government holidays, and festival periods are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
• This cancellation policy may not be applicable in case of national emergency/ lockdown/ political unrest/ natural disaster, etc.
• This policy is applicable to all tour cancellations, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Refund Policy

• 80% of the fees will be refunded if the booking is canceled more than seven (7) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
• 50% of the fees will be refunded if the booking is canceled within Five (5) to Seven (7) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
• 30% of the tour fee will be refunded if the booking is canceled within Three (3) to Five (5) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
• Refund will not be provided if the tour is canceled less than Three (3) days before the beginning of the experience/tour.
• Convenience fees and insurance fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the paid amount.
• All refunds will be processed within five (5) working days.

Child Policy

• Booking money is not needed for children below the age of three (3). No separate seat will be provided in case of accommodation.
• Fifty percent (50%) of the money must be paid to anyone above three (3) years old and below seven (7) years old.
• The full amount of money must be paid for anyone above seven (7) years old.
